Award Recognition & Humanitarian Art Auction – "DAMA-DA" Event
In 2017, Jana Janeska Risteski, Chairwoman of the Arts Council of CSLU-Prilep, was honored among the Top 10 Women Managers in North Macedonia in the field of culture by the renowned Marili Agency. This prestigious recognition was followed by a collaborative humanitarian art auction in 2018, where CSLU-Prilep raised significant funds for public health initiatives, reinforcing the unbreakable bond between art, leadership, and social responsibility.
Schools in the Museum / Museums in the Schools – Project Collaboration with the Museum of Prilep (2019)
In 2019, CSLU–Prilep proudly joined the project "Schools in the Museum or Museums in the Schools" as a creative partner, collaborating with the Institute and Museum of Prilep and ethnologist Aleksandar Cvetkoski. The project brought attention to intangible cultural heritage, especially social culture, through storytelling and performance by children from local schools.
Lazarki – Traditional Female Rituals
Organized by the Citizens’ Association Menelaj and supported by CSLU-Prilep and the Institute for Old Slavic Culture–Prilep, the exhibition “Lazarki” presented a powerful visual and ethnographic homage to one of Macedonia’s most meaningful springtime traditions.
Borko Lazeski 1917–1993 – A Tribute to Enduring Values
As a proud participant in the retrospective exhibition “Borko Lazeski 1917–1993”, held at the National Gallery of Macedonia in Skopje, CSLU-Prilep contributed one of its most valuable works: “Partizanka” by the acclaimed Macedonian painter Borko Lazeski. The exhibition was a tribute to the enduring power of art and an appeal to preserve true cultural values.
