Through decades of exhibitions and cultural exchanges, CSLU – Prilep has shared its artistic vision at home and abroad, shaping the global dialogue on contemporary art.
For over 65 years, the Center for Contemporary Art – Prilep has built an extraordinary exhibition legacy — not only through traveling shows and international cultural collaborations, but also through its annual exhibitions held at home.
These exhibitions celebrate the diversity and excellence of artworks created within CSLU’s rich network of international studios and symposia. Whether in Ljubljana, Belgrade, Subotica, Skopje, or Strumica, or within the walls of CSLU’s gallery in Prilep, each event tells a story of artistic dialogue, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage.
Today, this tradition continues with the annual program titled “Art Summer CSLU–Prilep”, showcasing new works produced by resident artists each year — including painting, sculpture, mosaic, photography, street art, digital art, and more.
Annual In-House Exhibitions: “Art Summer CSLU–Prilep”
Held in CSLU’s official exhibition gallery in the Cultural Center “Marko Cepenkov” in Prilep, these annual exhibitions present selected works from all active workshops and studios. They represent the creative essence of each summer and allow the public to experience the most recent developments in contemporary visual art.
