International Atelier for Sculpture in Metal (1984)
Where sparks meet sculpture.
Since 1984, this atelier forges bold visions into steel, bronze, and flame.
Founded in 1984 at the initiative of Dime Janeski, the International Atelier for Sculpture in Metal brought a powerful new medium into the CSLU–Prilep creative orbit. This atelier opens a dialogue between industrial material and artistic expression, giving form to imagination through iron, steel, copper, and fire.
Forged in flames, bent by hand, and fused with vision — each creation in metal tells a story of strength, resistance, and transformation. Artists work in open-air studios and shared workshops, turning raw materials into symbolic and monumental pieces that reflect modern life and timeless form.
With each strike of the hammer and every spark of the welder, the atelier becomes a laboratory of creativity, where tradition meets bold innovation. Sculptures born here now live in public spaces, collections, and hearts, carrying the weight and wonder of metal as art.
