Book Launch: "Shining Star with a Lion’s Mane"
Poetry meets diplomacy in Prilep
In November 2018, CSLU-Prilep organized the official promotion of the poetry book "Shining Star with a Lion’s Mane" by H.E. Prof. Milan Jazbec, PhD – Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia. The event featured a curated design and production of the printed edition and was hosted by Ognen Janeski.
In November 2018, the Center for Contemporary Art – Prilep had the honor of hosting a unique literary and cultural event — the promotion of the poetry book "Shining Star with a Lion’s Mane", authored by H.E. Prof. Milan Jazbec, PhD, the then Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in the Republic of Macedonia.
The event was held in collaboration with the Embassy of Slovenia. It included the design, layout, and full print production of the book, prepared by CSLU-Prilep with attention to both aesthetic and poetic integrity. The launch was moderated by Ognen Janeski, whose thoughtful narration and poetic insight enriched the atmosphere.
This collaboration is a shining example of how art, diplomacy, and literature intertwine to celebrate shared values and creative expression. By hosting this literary evening, CSLU-Prilep reaffirmed its role not only as a platform for visual arts, but also as a supporter of the written word, intercultural exchange, and artistic dialogue in its broadest sense.
